Rubén Domínguez Ibar

Rubén is a Spanish industrial engineer (ICAI–ICADE, Universidad Pontificia Comillas) turned early-stage tech investor and media founder. After a stint as an energy consultant at Endesa, he joined Mundi Ventures — a global early-stage fund managing ~€500M — as an intern and rose to analyst (2022–25), launching The VC Corner on the side in November 2023. He later led investments and media at Itnig Capital in Barcelona before going all-in on his own media company in late 2025.

Today he writes The VC Corner, The AI Corner, and co-writes The Founders Corner with Chris Tottman (Notion Capital) — 370,000+ subscribers combined — co-hosts the Compound podcast with Guillermo, and scouts for a16z Speedrun. He is one of the most-followed VC voices in the world.
